| I was born in Washington, D.C. in 1947, the third of three children. I went to St. Albans School, where one of my classmates was Al Gore. Both my parents were from Texas and they were very active in the Washington social scene. My father, Dale, was a well known lobbyist in Washington and my mother, Scooter, was a huge part of his success. I still have many friends from these early years. |
